Keeping up with Kim Kardashian’s bag style! Over this past weekend Kim showed up at the grand opening of High Rollers Luxury Lanes and Lounge at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut. For the occasion, in hand is the Adriana Castro Star Clutch!
Love… love is… hmm, what is love? This is a very good question. But it is one that doesn’t come with an easy answer. If I were to guess though, I would say that love is this Heather Hawkins Large Love Is… Clutch (a giant-sized version of the designer’s original fold-over design). This lovely clutch is made of Italian patent leathers, all of which are hand-selected. I wouldn’t describe the leather as patent, however. It looks more like a glazed leather to me. The hand-woven crisscross pattern is gorgeous and the so-called patent leather adds a lot of dimension. It looks a little bit Bottega Veneta-ish, but it is more simple and the interwoven pieces of leather are greater in width. It’s no wonder that Heather Hawkins handbags are quickly becoming a celeb favorite!

Moments later, a staff member came to the rescue.

Someday I will own my very own Hermes Birkin, but in the mean time as I daydream, I’ll just admire the fashionista’s who already do. It’s Keeping up with the Kardashians star, Miss Kim K. looking extra stylish and classy in New York City. Kim’s no stranger to the camera, as she isn’t afraid to flash a smile let alone take her 12K+ handbag out in public. We’re guessing her Birkin has some serious security surrounding it, or at least we hope so. Kims choice of Birkin is the wonderfully sized 35cm TOGO leather in a classic yet not so common shade of Dove Grey. It’s not just yet Grey but it’s definitely not ivory, and it can be worn with pretty much any outfit in your closet. With that said, this piece is definitely a keeper! The rare palladium hardware adds a nice modern look to the overall look of this Birkin.

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has been spotted all over town this past week running errands in her backyard of Los Angeles, from hitting the gym to shopping excursions to a day at the spa, with her amazing new Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci oversized tote on arm.
Right now the Billy is available in black or pale green over at Barneys for $1,975 – The average price range for Givenchy handbags. The black version which Kim is carrying is my favorite based on the online stock photos, but we all know how differently a bag can appear online vs in person. I for sure need to go check out the pale green, which to me looks more of like a beige-ish color. Soft hues are going to be huge for spring, so the color just sounds amazing.
As Kim demonstrated above, it’s the perfect bag for just about any occasion. And with it’s large spacious size there’s no need to minimalize yourself..bring everything you need for your daily trip. Measures in at 14.5″ x 20″ x 7″. 6″ handle drop. Also if you need a little bit more space, unzip the side zippers to expand. Other features worth mentioning: the mouth of the bag features a magnetic snap closure, canvas lined interior with zipper pocket and two organizational pockets. Plus the rolled handles are made with ostrich leather, for that little hint of exotic.

When I go get my nails done, I bring along a handbag that’s comfortable enough to sit still on my lap, such as my Speedy 30. When Kim Kardashian gets her nails done, she takes along her gorgeous Hermes Birkin 35. What a fortunate lady the reality pop star is, as that same bag she’s carrying in the crook of her arm will remain on my wish list for years to come. If you’ve got the cash to drop on a Birkin, it’s such a great everyday bag. I personally wouldn’t take it to get my mani. done, although shopping trips and social events are a different story. I conclude Kim’s bag is Togo leather Birkin 35 with shiny gold hardware, the safest yet classiest version you could possibly get your hands on. Could it be that Kim will replace the Balenciagas and Chanels she’s known to carry for her fabulous Birkin? We’ll just have to wait and see.
