I remember when I was in 9th Grade the biggest craze was messenger bags. Literally every girl, out of the 200 of us, had a messenger bag. It was odd to see someone actually hauling around their books in a book bag. The boys used book bags, the girls used messenger bags that’s just the way it was. My aunt had taken me to Macy’s and let me pick one out. I picked out one by Guess? and it was $32. In reality, hardly any of my books fit in it but boy did I feel stylish. I think 2 books fit inside it and I had to carry the rest in my arms.
Gorgeous Olivia Palermo spotted around this past week with her stunning sequin rose Valentino clutch. The first sighting was last week on the 8th (pictured on the left), where Olivia was at the Mango Fashion and Music Night in Munich. For the event she matched her Valentino clutch with a blue pleated dress from the Spanish label, and a pair of lace-up Jimmy Choos. Then a couple days later (pictured on the right), she was spotted at the N.Y.C. “Make Up For Ever” Sephora launch in a champagne origami skirt, black feathery top, grey beaded jacket; and accessorized with a studded belt, Charlotte Olympia booties, and the gorgeous embellished rose Valentino flat clutch.
American socialite, natural beauty Olivia Palermo has been spotted everywhere the last few weeks with her gorgeous Mulberry Alexa Bag. Do I blame her? No way, it’s such a gorgeous bag, and looks amazing in any occasion.
The Alexa is available in an assortment of different colors and prints for spring. One of my favorite new additions is the Alexa in ink!
The Mulberry Alexa Bag is named after and inspired by modern British style icon Alexa Chung. What’s so spectacular about the Alexa, is that it’s both formal and casual structured and relaxed.
The oversized Mulberry Alexa Bag is currently available over at LuisViaRoma for $1558. And unfortunately it’s only available for pre-order, however fear not, it’s set to arrive by March 31st. Not that long of a wait in my opinion, for such a gorgeous purse.
Socialite Olivia Palermo was spotted with boyfriend Brad Leinhard, at the after party for “The Mysteries Of Pittsburgh” hosted by The Cinema Society at The Cooper Square Hotel in New York City. Her bag for the occasion, one of my personal favorites, was her gorgeous Katherine Kwei snakeskin plumalicious Donna clutch.
What I love most about this clutch is the eyecatching sparkling little pieces of crystals scattered in the design (Chinese ‘eternity’ knotting technique for which Katherine Kwei is known), the size, and the beautiful frame which is both modern and femininely elegant.
What’s knot to love?
Right now over at LuxCouture they have the Donna in metallic silver snake (minus the crystals) for $1,010.
