Sex in the City star, Sarah Jessica Parker, was paying tribute to Alexander McQueen at the 2010 CFDA Fashion Awards. Her gorgeous gown is from the late designer’s Pre-Fall collection. Sarah Jessica Parker completed her look with a very interesting-looking evening bag. The bag’s identity eluded me for quite some time, but I finally figured it out. It is called the Dangler Bag and it is by a designer called VBH. The designer is known more for their envelope clutches, it’s no wonder I was stumped. This bag has such an intriguing design though. I love how it gracefully hangs down from Sarah Jessica Parker’s hand, as if it was an extension of her arm. The ball shape and loop handle make this bag so unique, it’s sure to draw the attention of an entire room! Also from this designer, you can see a VBH stingray cuff wrapped around her wrist. Such pretty accessories! And so perfect for the occasion!

My guess is that Carrie Bradshaw would not approve of Sarah Jessica Parker’s outfit you see pictured here. I love her extra-long 3.1 Philip Lim cardigan and her pretty taupe scarf. Plus her white belt accentuates her waist quite nicely. But paired with white jeans and tan booties? Yikes! But what’s that flash of pink I see there? Why it’s none other than Sarah Jessica Parker’s famous Diane De Maria Bonnie Bag. Now that is something Carrie Bradshaw would definitely approve of! Diane De Maria, great-granddaughter of Pierre De Maria, gains her inspiration from her travels. Ok, so we all know that Sex and the City’s Carrie Bradshaw is the ultimate fashionista. She’s always sporting the latest looks by the hottest designers and starting the newest trends. Us fellow fashionista’s have been pretty lonely since the series finale of Sex and the City but have much to look forward to because of the release of the movie this spring. One of Sex and the City’s biggest appeals is the fashion. Fashionistas always anticipate Carrie Bradshaw’s latest shoes or newest funky bag. With the release of the movie creeping up on us, scenes from the movie have hit the internet leaving us all in awe over the fashion.
Miss Carrie Bradshaw was seen in a couple of scenes carrying the Salvatore Ferragamo Ostrich Feather Bag. This is definitely not your average handbag, nor would we expect Carrie Bradshaw to carry the average handbag. It boasts of soft, colorful ostrich feathers, brown leather lining and an ornate gold buckle. Its safe to say that you will not go unnoticed carrying this bad. It is funky, vibrant, and in your face. It is nothing but unique. It can look fantastic with the right outfit but can easily turn into a disaster if accessorized with an already lively outfit. It screams Carrie Bradshaw but does it scream you?
