Every year around this time of the season I always look forward to the drawstring bucket bag trend. It’s insane how much I love this style. Living in Seattle it’s not really one that you can get away with wearing year-round, especially with all the rainfall we get. Open top drawstring bags + rain are not a good combination. You don’t want your stuff inside wet. You know though, I’m really obsessing over this Rachel Zoe Joni Bucket Bag, and even though we’re still in the rainy season I would love to carry this bag around – that’s what umbrellas are for!
Personally I think the Joni is one hot bag. It’s so beautiful. The body of the bag is made of chocolate brown (called Brandy) woven fabric with pebbled leather trim. My favorite feature of this bag is the drawstring top and tassel. Also comes with an adjustable shoulderstrap (max 16″) so it can easily convert from single-shoulder bag to cross-body, depending on your mood or occasion. For me during the summer I’m all about the cross-body style. City bike rides, summer bbq’s, traveling the town on a vacation getaway, etc - that sounds alot like my summers – ideal for cross-body. Spacious enough for any summer adventure too – measurements: 13″ height x 12″ length x 7″ depth.
