Victoria Beckham arriving at the restaurant Nobu in London.

We all know that the outfit is equally as important as the handbag, I mean you can’t mix walmart sweats with a Prada handbag (big fashion barf), so listed below and pictured above is the list of designer items needed to complete this Victoria Designer Look. If you want the designer look but don’t want to spend designer prices then check out Frugal-Fashionista!

Chanel Nail Polish – Victoria has been spotted everywhere from casual shopping to special occasion dinner parties with polished black nails, so of course I can’t forget to mention that was the color of choice for this evening. The nail polish pictured above is the Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colore, spot it today at Macy’s

Christian Louboutin Peep Toe Pumps – Every celebrity owns at least one pair of Christian Louboutin pumps. To say one pair is safe, when in fact the number is more like 1-30 pairs. For the occasion Victoria decided on the Louboutin Peep Toe Pumps in black patent with the signature red on the underside sole. I’m pretty sure she is wearing the regular pumps, not the 20mm platforms. The price difference between the two styles is about $180. You can find the Christian Louboutin regular Peep Toe Pumps at Saks for $510, and for a couple extra inches then you will have to spend a couple more dollars, the Platforms are at Net-a-Porter for $690.

Chanel Clutch – From the Fall / Winter 2006 handbag collection it’s the Chanel quilted clutch in lambskin leather. I found one on eBay for $1,350 from an eBay Powerseller, go check it out.

Giambattista Valli Dress – For the occasion Victoria Beckham was dressed up in a Giambattista Valli runway (potato sack looking) dress from the 2007 Spring Ready-to-Wear collection. The picture in the upper right corner is of runway star Lekeliene Stange modeling the dress for the Giambattista Valli fashion show.

You should dissect the outfits more often, great idea! Thanks for identifying her dress, I had a clue it was showed in the s.s’07 show but I couldn’t identify. I like it.

The rest of your posts are great but this statement simply isn’t true. Now I don’t do wal-mart because I disagree with them politically, but if you are wearing your clothes, and your clothes are NOT wearing you, then you absolutely can wear low-end and high-end together….

    E5 – I really like the dress! :)

Diva – What I think she means about “fashion barf”, is that the clothes are equally important as your accessories. You cant only care about one.

divaliscious11, most likely if someone is carrying a Prada handbag, they wont be shopping for clothes at Walmart, unless their bag is from the Nylon Collection. Although, I would have said Hermes handbag and Walmart sweats :D

PS. I think she is wearing the Platforms. :D

I understood what she said perfectly clear, I simply disagree…and the comment about not shopping at wal-mart, or other ‘low-end’ stores is also untrue. I personally have worn with old navy/target/zara/H&M clothing with chanel/prada (not prada nylon)/gucci/LV etc… Is it my entire wardrobe? Of course not but if you recall back a few years Vogue said this very thing – high and low can and should be worn together. Carry on ladies..

    divaliscious11,
Yes High and Low Priced Items can be worn together and should be worn together, but Low-Quality and High-Quality do not mix.

There is difference between low-quality and low-priced…. Walmart is Low-Quality
    Old navy/target/zara/H&M clothing is Low-Priced

Another difference is that Walmart is not a brand or label, Old Navy and H&M are. And Target carries designer items (low-priced) for their Go-International Campaign.

I am sorry if I offended anyone with my comment about mixing “walmart sweats with a Prada handbag”. Everyone has their own opinion on what fashion, lets face it, fashion would be pretty boring if everyone liked the same style / designer / colors / etc.

What I meant to say was that ‘I Personally feel that way’, I doNot speak for all handbag fans or fashion admirers.

DON’T BE MEAN TO JENNIFER! LOL! Come on! She’s perfectly RIGHT.

Jennifer – I was NOT offended and I hope you wern’t either. i think you have a great blog. I just disagreed with your sentiment in that regard. If everyone agreed on everything, we’d look like a bunch of clones… I think some of your readers just took it too far…..

and Bea, not everything sold in Wal-Mart is low quality. I don’t shop there because I don’t like the way they treat their employees, but when I did, I did notice a few things that were well made – they were ugly – lol – but it doesn’t take much for some simple items to be well made. anyway – cool out, it isn’t that deep.
