Christian Louboutin Loubis Angel Clutch

Gorgeous mandarin red-orange suede! That is what caught my eye when I first saw the Christian Louboutin Loubis Angel Clutch. I think it was love at first sight. Really! But I have always been a little partial to suede handbags. They are just so luxurious looking!

Upon closer inspection, however, I began to realize there was more to love about this clutch than just the suede exterior. I absolutely love the embroidery! It reminds me of the ethnic patterned scarves and skirts that hang from the walls of my favorite boutique featuring a lot of free-trade items. The colors really pop against the background. Plus the loops and squiggles add an element of whimsey to this piece. I’m also liking the unusual shape. The upturned corners are certainly unexpected! And, although it looks a little bit out of place, what Christian Louboutin clutch would be complete without the stiletto clasp? Those little high heeled shoes are too cute for words!

This clutch would look great paired with a simple dress. I’m thinking something floaty and effortless would really do this piece justice. It would look best held in hand. But if you find your hands getting tired, it does come with an optional chain shoulder strap.
