Foley + Corinna Lotus Clutch

Floral motifs are everywhere this year. They are bright, muted, realistic, or abstract… there is a little bit of everything out there. You mostly see them on dresses, tops, and scarves. There are even floral print jeans! I have seen a few floral themed handbags too. The designs are usually printed, embroidered, or beaded. However, never before have I seen anything like Foley + Corinna’s take on the floral motif. Meet the Foley + Corinna Lotus Clutch!

Unique! That is one word I would use to describe this clutch. Not only is it different from other Foley + Corinna styles, it is different from just about anything I have ever seen. The floral motif is very unusual. Snake embossed leather is used to create the contrasting outline of a lotus against a suede background. Personally, I love tone-on-tone patterns. They give you some visual interest, while remaining muted and subdued. The look is perfect for when the occasion calls from something sophisticated. Yet it isn’t too fancy either. I also like the trapezoid-ish shape of this clutch and oxidized chain strap. This clutch would make a great versatile addition any collection. Dress it up or down, you really can’t go wrong!
