Miu Miu Stage Clutch
Miu Miu’s new Cruise Collection for 2012 is all about over-the-top glamour! It is definitely a change from the simple and minimalistic designs Miu Miu has been putting out lately. But it is a new year and there is no better time than now to do a little experimenting. My favorite piece from this collection is the Metallic ‘Stage’ Cristal Mini Bag. It is very similar to the Nappa Cristal Clutch currently available through the designer’s official website. However, this mini bag is… well… mini! It measures only 7 inches by 5 inches, which makes it even cuter!
What I like about this bag is that the traditional nappa leather was replaced with this beautiful silver metallic leather. The shimmer is so luxurious and glamorous. I also love the detachable strap, which has been embellished with plexiglass and Swarovski crystals. It reminds me of big vintage jewelry, a lot like the things I would find in my grandma’s jewelry box. If you don’t want to carry this tiny bag on your shoulder, simply detach the strap. Now you have a clutch! Plus the strap can be converted into a necklace for a great alternative look! I guess I wasn’t lying when I said it looked like a piece of jewelry.

This bag is gorgeous! It’s the perfect amount of shine and sparkle!
I love the Miu Miu stuff!!! The new gem bags.. so PRETTY! Oh my gosh like wow. Some of them have the maltisse (spelling!) quilting and look stunning.
This is nice for evenings out, but day wear, I couldn’t wear this.
Is Miu Miu not sold in the United States anymore?
I wish Miu Miu still sold in the states! That way I could see this in person.
I want this in another color though. I have really dark skin and can’t wear silver
