Olivia Harris Fur Baby Ball Bag
I am told that fur is the latest thing in a long string of Fall 2010 trends. Fur is literally everywhere right now! Fur coats, fur vests, fur shoes, and (of course) fur handbags. I am interested in seeing how well this trend will do. After all, people have a lot of mixed feelings about fur. Personally, I am not all that in to fur. It just so happens that I have a couple of rabbits as pets and I absolutely adore them. I couldn’t imagine one of my babies as part of a vest or as a pair of earmuffs (although I sometimes joke they look like bunny slippers). But I am going to do my very best to look at this trend objectively. And I am going to start with the Olivia Harris Fur Baby Ball Bag!
This cute little crossbody bag is a carry-over of the drawstring pouch trend. The bag is constructed of buttery soft lambskin, which was then wrapped in a little fur coat. It comes in two colors, “Bisque” and “Chinchilla”. Both colors are really just dyed rabbit fur. Personally, I like the Bisque better. To me, it looks more natural (they did a very poor job of imitating chinchilla fur… which, by the way, is another cute and cuddly creature I am partial to) and the neutral camel-like color is much more versatile. I am also digging the leather strap with its dainty chain accents. Plus this bag is relatively inexpensive and a great way to dip your toes into the fur trend without breaking the bank!
Discover the Fur Baby Ball Bag at Saks: Olivia Harris Boutique! It retails for only $395.

Bunnies :( I do think it’s cute, just wish it was faux fur though.
>>>> Just saying, but I think it’s interesting that some people are fine with cowskin and lambskin leather, but oh no, not the cute bunnies!
I don’t like this bag though ;) There’s a stud version of this bag that is tdf
It’s really just because I have rabbits of my own. I guess if I had a pet cow, then I might not like leather either. Hehe!
I like it, but I wouldn’t spend that much on it. I wonder if it will hit the sale section soon. hehe.
I really love this bag, but would prefer if it was fake fur.
No way I would never wear fur!
This is a really popular style this season. I like it.
I love everything about it. The design and the fur – cute
