Reece Hudson handbags have apparently been around for awhile, but I guess I never really noticed. The line was launched in New York back in 2009 by fashion designer Reece Solomon. Her vision was to create handbags that bridged the gap between luxury and street style. Even more impressive is how young she is! I just love it when designers find success while still in their twenties! Now the clutch pictured above is nothing new, but I really think it is worth a second look. Meet the Reece Hudson Bowery Clutch!
I don’t know what it is about this clutch, but it has this aura about it that calls to me. I guess you could say it has almost a gothic-like quality. I get that from the quilting pattern on the flap closure. If you look at it closely, it sort of reminds me of dragon scales. Does anyone else see that? Combine that with the structured shape and you have yourself one very unique clutch! I also like the horizontal lines quilted into the sides and buckled strap details. Plus this is an oversized clutch, so it could be used for so much more than simply as an evening bag.
