Santi Sequin Disco Bag
Handmade in India by skilled craftspeople, a Santi evening bag or clutch can add a glamorous touch to any look. The company, originally founded in the late 1980′s by Santi Tiangratanakul, focuses on bringing the tradition of silk workmanship to life in the form of functional accessories. I think what I admire most about these evening bags is their beautiful bead work and embroidery.
The Santi Sequin Disco Bag is a little gem that I stumbled across while browsing on the Bloomingdales website. This beauty is covered from head to toe with iridescent navy blue sequins. I adore the cute “coin purse” shape with the framed opening and pushlock clasp. The website describes this bag as “retro glamour”. But when I look at this bag, I just see cute. This bag would liven up any evening dress for a night on the town. In my opinion, there is no need for the wearer to have “disco fever” to sport this lovely piece. And the best part is, this lovely little evening bag is totally affordable. In other words, it has all the sparkle without the heavy price tag of one of those crystal embellished clutches. So don’t feel guilty if you decide you want one in every color imaginable!

I don’t really like this bag, however I have seen santi bags in person before and they are really amazing. Definitely worth the price.
