Thale Blanc La Pochette

Designed by Deborah Sawaf, the Thale Blanc La Pochette was created with the fashionable minimalist in mind, perfectly ideal for the after dark, evening out occasions when you don’t really want to carry around a big bag. Or even for those who don’t want to lug around their school bag or work tote when, say, you just want to go out for a quick coffee run or lunch date.

Treesje Warhol and Sedgwick Handbags

In honor of the legendary pop art icon, Andy Warhol, Treesje will be releasing a new collection consisting to two limited edition styles. But wait, what does Warhol have to do with Treesje? A lot, actually. Warhol was well known for his love for bohemianism and his support of uninhibited art, music, and film that challenged conventional norms regarding gender, sex, and politics. Treesje, on the other hand, has always understood that women are constantly looking to evolve their fashionable look. The California-based company has managed to find the perfect blend between California cool and New York street chic, yet they aren’t afraid to think outside the box and they often draw inspiration from iconic figures and events in art, music, and fashion. Suddenly, their looking to Warhol for inspiration with these limited edition pieces no longer seems like such a far stretch! And did I mention that these styles are infused with a sense of effortlessly chic Bohemia? I think Warhol would definitely approve!

Treesje Warhol – $568
Named after Andy Warhol himself, the Treesje Warhol is the more laid-back of the two styles. Its slouchy silhouette and casual flap give it just the right amount of Bohemian flair. This is balanced with contrasting details such as black leather buckle straps and gold hardware paired with a stone leather body. Also note the interesting use of whip-stitching along the edges! It would make a good, casual-looking bag for everyday use.

One Language “City Tote” with Laptop Sleeve

Whenever I’m traveling, especially by airplane, I always have a huge problem with packing. I always pack way too much and I can never decide what I want to put in my carryon. Not to mention, the restrictions these days for carryon items is so difficult. One purse or lap top bag and a carryon bag which can’t have A to Z in it.

It’s always been a mission of mine to find a purse that’s big enough to also fit my lap top in it so I don’t have issues with the TSA. Of course it’s impossible and I end up having to stuff my laptop in my carry on bag, which takes away room from my shoes and purses. Every fashionista’s nightmare right?

When I came across the One Language “City Tote”, i thought it was a brilliant idea.

Bryna Nicole “Bay Stingray” Bag

Lately, I’ve had an obsession with clutches. Small, Normal or even oversized I love clutches. I love the fact that I can just put them under my arm or carry them in my hand and I go on my way. Sometimes it does get annoying carrying my big heavy bags around and with a clutch I can carry my essentials and thats it.

The first thing that caught my eye about the Bryna Nicole “Bay Stingray” Cross Body Bag/Clutch was the name! I think stingrays are one of the most beautiful in marine life so I instantly had to check the bag out when I read the name.

What I also liked about the bag is that from the picture it looks as if the bag is adorned in crystals, which is not the case. I would love to see in person if from far away if it looks like crystals also. Definitely an obstacle illusion in the stock photo.

Kooba Colby Convertible Backpack

After writing a recent blog post all about Kooba for The Bag Forum, I instantly became more intrigued about the brand. I’ve always known about Kooba, but I would say now I definitely know pretty much the whole story about how the brand came to be, and I’m also familiar with more of their purses now. I’m still in love with the “Malia” but the “Colby” is very intriguing.

When I was in high school, I thought I was one of the coolest teenagers because my Mom had bought me a Coach backpack. A majority of the high schoolers had Jansport backpacks but of course I had to strut around with a designer one. The “Colby” is definitely a bag I would of wanted to have in high school.

Foley + Corinna Stripley Mid City

I’ve always been a fan of the Foley + Corinna City tote. Even though each bag looks relatively the same, just made in different sizes, it’s still a fabulous bag. The versatility of the bag is probably the best part about it. Being able to carry a bag two different ways is always a plus in my book and makes it worth the money a little more.

The “Stripley” Mid City Tote caught my eye strictly because of the banding featured all over it. It gave the tote more of a “rocker” look, which I’m obsessed with. Not only does the banding give it that edgy look, but it can also pass as being asymmetrical, which we all know has been a huge trend this year.

Botkier Ava

I have a secret obsession, well maybe not so secret, with black handbags that feature golden hardware. I even buy shoes that have the same pattern so I can match them with my handbags more easily.

I’m currently drooling over the Botkier “Ava”. Not only does is have black leather and gold hardware but it also is pretty unique looking. From the shoulder chain, to the zipper closures, all the way to the shape/stye of the bag this bag is totally different than any bag I’ve ever seen. It may be different but it sure is a beauty.

What makes this bag so unique in my opinion is the odd mixture of the features. Zipper closures, shoulder chain strap, and studded tassels. Seems like the designer of this bag couldn’t decide on which trend to stick with so they decided to combine three different ones. You either see a bag with just chains or covered in studs or features studs, but never all three. I’m personally not complaining because I happen to love each trend!

L.A.M.B Freestyle Brandywell

Whether you’re a fan of L.A.M.B or not, you have got to give singer Gwen Stefani credit for constantly releasing new styles and patterns to her collection. This time around, artistic giant red roses intrigued her. Gwen is a gal whose tough chic style is seen in her accessories collection but never fails to add some feminine appeal to the handbags she designs and personally carries.

We’re guessing the “free style” is an all-around tote that’s practical for all everyday occasions. Carry on the arm with its braided top handles or by means of the matching twisted body strap that’ll leave you hands free. Front pockets and gussets at the sides create a large area for all of your carrying needs. L.A.M.B is not the first brand that adds floral designs on their handbags, but these twisted roses on an all black polyester background creates a dark-romantic appearance that can be paired greatly with your black attires.
