Remember when pouch style bags were the hot new thing? They were literally everywhere and in every style imaginable. A large majority of handbag designers were on the bandwagon too. It was crazy! So what do I think about pouch style bags now that the trend has died down a bit? I still love them! Obsessed: Marc by Marc Jacobs Lizzie Dot Bag
No doubt about it, polka dots are the hottest trend of the season. One bag in particular that I would love to get a hold of is the Lizzie Dot by Marc.

The bag is dressed in a bold polka dot lizard-embossed leather and accessorized with brushed hardware. One of my favorite features about this bag is that it’s a crossbody, but it’s also adjustable if you just wanna sling it over one shoulder.

Pair it with the Joseph Cowell Puffer Vest, HELMUT Fine Alpaca V Neck Sweater and the Current/Elliott Ankle Skinny Jeans.

I have always had a thing for bows and hearts. Both are incredibly feminine and make me feel king of young I guess. Ever since I was a little girl everything had to have a bow or a heart. I’m not as extreme anymore, but I tend to only like jewelry that features a heart on it and I love when shoes have bows on them. I know I’m a girly girl but I personally think they make certain things a little cuter.

Trends usually come and go. It’s like they are the one hit wonders of the fashion industry. They are here for maybe a season or two and then they vanish. However, sometimes they make another appearance a few years down the road. Let’s not forget to mention though that, not very often but definitely sometimes, a trend comes out and never seems to leave! Whenever that happens, I just hope it’s a trend I like! If I like the trend then I don’t care how often I see it in the stores at the mall. One of those trends that has been non-stop for the past couple years is the stud trend. Studs have been very popular and seen non-stop the fashion world for a while now. Looks like the stud trend is here to stay and doesn’t plan on going anywhere anytime soon.

I think those two colors look absolutely fabulous on handbags and shoes. In my opinion, the colors look classy, flashy and gorgeous when paired together. Michael Kors is always the king of making beautiful fashion pieces featuring those two colors but other designers have also succeeded like Monserat De Lucca.

Obsessed: Coach Legacy Duffle

It’s all about simplicity! The Legacy Duffle is a classic, reintroduced to the house some time ago but with a modern and tassel-adorned update. What I love most about this bag is the true form-fitting hobo style and that it can be worn as a shoulder bag or crossbody by simply adjusting the shoulder strap. That’s not even the best of it (get this) this bag is available in 16 colors! How is one to choose?

Tory Burch is one of my favorite designer brands at the moment and I’m craving to have a handbag by the coveted brand. I was able to score some Tory Burch flats at Nordstrom Rack a few months back and I’ve been eying handbags by the brand ever since. Obviously, I want a larger handbag to hold all the stuff I carry around on a daily basis but I can’t help but love the Tory Burch Robinson “Shrunken” Satchel.

In general, I have never been a huge fan of Gwen Stefani. Her music just isn’t my style. However, I am familiar with her handbag line and there have certainly been some styles that caught my eye over the years. Recently though, I haven’t really been paying attention to LAMB. I swear this blue trend just never seems to go away. It seems as if blue just keeps carrying on from season to season. All the different shades of blue are quite gorgeous but I wouldn’t want too much of it. I am eager to see what the next “It” color is going to be but for the time being I’ll just keep looking at the new fabulous pieces that come out in blue. As I always mention in my posts, Rebecca Minkoff is seriously one of the best female designers out there. She just keeps making hit after hit. We have seen the “Affair” bag before but the quilted royal blue version is to die for!
