3.1 Phillip Lim Lark Duffel Bag

When I was younger, I liked anything that looked sporty. I was the type of girl that loved to pretty much look like “Sporty Spice” from the Spice Girls. Gym pants and sneakers were my favorite thing to wear at one point. Thankfully I’m out of that stage but I still like handbags that are simple and have a sporty look to them. I use to love handbags that had logos or colors all over them but now I think simplicity is best. Simplicity keeps fashion looking classy but yet stylish.
The 3.1 Phillip Lim “Lark” Duffel Bag is a prime example of a simple looking sporty bag. I would personally prefer this bag in black or white but I still love the style of it. It doesn’t even look like it would be a handbag by just looking at it. If I saw someone walking around with this bag I would think it was their gym bag and that they had sneakers in it. What a great way to incognito a handbag!
As I have stated often, I would never use this bag with a shoulder strap. I understand a shoulder strap is supposed to give you a break but some bags don’t look good with them. I would personally not use “Lark” as a shoulder bag but as a satchel it is fabulous!

The Lark is one of my favorite bags of the moment.
I really like this bag but not in the yellow. Maybe black or gray.
