To think that one of the fashion industries well known designers would be inspired by the game of good ole’ American football seems quite strange, but is indeed true. Attention football addicts/bagista’s, meet the Brady Football Clutch by Alexander Wang. So Wang was months short of making this clutches debut during the actual season, and although you might have no football parties to attend to at the moment, you can always add this to your ‘gear’ collection for next season. So why a clutch resembling a football? Either Alexander holds a passion for the game, or he just wanted to call out to the sports ladies.
Whether you’re a fan of this or not, we’re glad this piece doesn’t replicate an actual football, instead it discretely resembles one. On this oversized clutch, puffy distressed leather, whip stitched detail up front, and leather piping that holds up this awkward shape can be found. From a distance, I say it looks more like a deflated football to me. This large clutch features a price tag of $395, and if you have a partner who doesn’t support your handbag addiction, this might just be the one he would actually give a yes to.

I think Alexander Wang is a great designer, not afraid to push to the next level. I look forward to seeing the rest of his bags this season. I can only imagine they will be as intriguing as this Brady Football.
