Andrea Brueckner Tierney City Bag
When I think about Andrea Brueckner handbags, one style always comes to mind first. And if you’re like me, then you already know that that style is the Luxembourg Satchel. I always have to remind myself that, yes it is a gorgeous and classic handbag, but there are other Andrea Brueckner handbags out there to choose from. One that caught my eye was this one I have pictured above. It’s called the Tierney City Bag and it is new for Fall 2008. I think it was the two-tone colors that drew me in. A lot of people like the idea of a two-tone bag, especially when it is a black and brown combo. Why? Because then you can wear the bag with either black or brown. Personally, I think it is kind of silly. But I can safely say that I like the tone-on-tone black version. The black patent accents really pop against the pebbled black background. I like the clean and simple design and I especially like the drawstring closure. My only gripe is the brushed gold hardware. Sorry, but I prefer nickel or silver with black.
The Andrea Brueckner Tierney City Bag measures 13″ x 9″ x 6″ and comes with a detachable shoulder strap. It is available in many color combinations, but you can find it in Black/Black Patent and Black/Dark Brown over at Shop Goldyn. It retails for $650.
