DKNY Star Studded Bag
Chic, soft, studded and squishy do not always go together, but when I first saw DKNY’s newest studded leather shoulder bag, I immediately thought that! A terrific accent to this season’s military inspired designs, this bag has a lot going for it!
The hobo shoulder-bag styling is certainly an easy design to carry. The soft taupe color is the perfect neutral for Fall. A unique mix of antique-brass studs from pyramid to round shapes are placed on a geometric quilted grid all over the body of the bag. A larger stud is placed at the central focal point to define the shape of the bag. I think it’s more interesting than simply placing the same studs across the bag.
The rolled top handle has an 8” drop that is perfect for shoulder carrying. It is further accented with brass rings and harness style pieces that run down the side of this extra roomy bag. With measurements of 16”W x 11”H x 7”D, you can pack almost everything in this bag. It’s great for organization too as it has two zippered pockets and two open pockets on its beautifully colored cotton twill. It’s a fabulous shade of purple!

I like it but with at all those studs. It’s just so messy. I don’t really see the stud hype, then again maybe I’m a bit old for that.

It’s nice, but DKNY for that much? No way!
It’s interesting DKNY is working on this comeback.. am I buying? No. Just because they increased their bag and accessory prices doesn’t meant he quality has changed. I remember back when their DKNY bags were $49.99 at Macys! That was less than 8 years ago.
It’s just okay. Nothing worth obsessing over. Probably would be on sale soon anyway.
This bag would be fab in a black with pewter hardware!!
Umm we didn’t increase our prices. You are just used to seeing things on sale. A good design is worth the $ tag
