Givenchy bags: The Pandora, Antigona, Nightingale have a luxurious rocker chic vibe about that that says edge and sophistication all at one time. I’ve been eyeballing their bags for awhile now but hadn’t made the plunge. Prices range from $1178 for a mini Pandora to a over $2,100 for a large Nightingale. Serious stuff.
While perusing the Luisa Via Roma site, I ran across Elena Ghisellini bags and thought they looked quite similar. So, I did a little research. Turns out she is the Givenchy designer behind those serious bags! So, there’s definitely going to be some similarities!
Beautiful distressing and treatments to the leather with minimal hardware. Classic, sophisticated and hard-working, these bag have character and amazing style. What’s more, the price point for her line is around $900 for each bag! Deserves a look, right?!
My favorite bag from her line is the Grainy Top Handled Bag for $938. It’s available in black and taupe. The bag is rectangular and measures 14.5″ x 19.5″ with an 8″ strap drop that lays nicely across the bag giving it an angled side appearance. Two rolled leather top handles finish the bag.
I also adore the Flap Bag with Gold Chain short strap and a long shoulder strap. The gold chain acts as a striking embellishment. Measures 8″ x 10″ x 4″ with a 5″ double-chain handle drop and a 18″ shoulder strap that is removeable for a move ladylike hand-carrying type of bag. This bag retails for $918. There’s a lot of detail and craftsmanship here for the price!

Oh no! Looks like there is a typo and the Givenchy bag referenced is actually Antigona!
I have one of her bags and own many Givenchy. I would say that there are some similarities like the over all structure of the bag, feel to the leather, design.. but I wouldn’t say that the bags look like they belong in the same family.
