Foley + Corinna Plated Hobo
Over the years, Foley + Corinna has managed to come up with some very unique handbag designs. I’m not talking about the well-known City Tote, as this style has practically become a household name. No, I’m talking about the interesting-looking styles that seem to pop up with each new collection. And one that caught my eye this season was the Foley + Corinna Plated Hobo you see pictured here!
This geometric hobo is round and flat, which sort of reminds me of a flying saucer. What really grabbed my attention though was the interesting use of plates to create an asymmetrical pattern around the bag’s perimeter. Yes, that’s right, plates. If you look closely, you will see that the large rectangles are actually many plates lined up side by side. Breaking up the pattern here and there are some flat, button-like studs. This bag certainly is different, I will give it that! It probably would not fit in with everyone’s look, but I think it would make a great funky bag for the right person. I think it would look great with some black jeans, a casual tee, and a killer Alexander McQueen scarf! It comes in Gunmetal or Black, but I would say go for the black… definitely!

I love this new shape. It’s so different..
Loving the structured shape
Does FC come with sleeper bags??
Wow this is so different from any other bag out there. Can’t wait to check it out IRL
So do these bags come with dust covers yet??
I actually really love this bag! Would love to see if it comes in other colors.
I love it, but I am wondering how heavy it is. I already carry enough junk in my handbag without adding the weight of the metal plates.
However, sometimes one must suffer for fashion.
I wonder how it fits – will it fit over the shoulder if you’re wearing a coat? Also is it slouchy?
