I wonder how it fits – will it fit over the shoulder if you’re wearing a coat? Also is it slouchy?

I love it, but I am wondering how heavy it is. I already carry enough junk in my handbag without adding the weight of the metal plates.
However, sometimes one must suffer for fashion.
