Marni Goat Hair Bag

It’s not too often that I can say a designer has thrown me for a loop. But I think, right at this very moment, Marni has done just that! Check out this Marni Goat Hair Bag and you will see what I mean. The bag features a black goat hair exterior, which is full length in the front and shaved in the back. Now I’m all for unique and unusual textures when it comes to handbags, but this bag looks downright shaggy.
I suppose though you could sport this bag if you were in the mood for something quirky. It is certainly something that would get heads turning in a crowded room. If you’re feeling brave enough to try pulling this baby off, then you don’t want to overdo it. Definitely pair this bag with an all-black outfit and let the texture of the bag do all the talking.
It’s great that this is a crossbody bag too. It needs to be carried down low, otherwise you might find it competing with your own hair. To be honest though, I prefer a bag that wouldn’t be mistaken as a possible wig (wardrobe) malfunction. I’m more of a leather gal when it comes to my bags. I might throw a little pony hair in there, but that is about as “furry” as I will go.

OMG, I have seen this bag.. but vintage! hah. Sorta. Click the link above. I take random pictures sometimes of interesting bags.
LOL! What is that a picture of? It looks like a pile of hair, but it does totally look like the Marni bag. Do you know the materials?
Yeah, so I didn’t really touch it…
^^ I don’t blame you! :)
While the bags do look similar, I much prefer the Marni one!
Agreed!
This bag is so fabulous. And the outfit above is flawless. I would love to have the whole look!
I like it, but it wouldn’t be an everyday bag for me.
Jennifer I love that vintage bag. I’m sure with a little tlc, it could be brought back to life :D Although how would you clean it I wonder? Pantene, Dove, PertPlus, etc? lol
How glamorous is this bag!
No, no, no. That bag is just wrong on so many levels, and I am a lover of fur. It needs a haircut.
Do you have to brush it? If so, how often :P
LOL!
This bag is quite scary! Polly asked the write question – how often do you have to brush it! ;-)
(Correction) This bag is quite scary! Polly asked the right question – how often do you have to brush it! ;-)
What a disaster. Good question Polly. How often do you have to brush it. LOL I would not even consider touching it.
Wow! Not only would you have to brush it, maybe you’d have to vacuum every 50 uses or so? And shampoo and blow dry…
Don’t like the idea of carrying Cousin Itt around with me!
