ROMYGOLD Biker Slash Tote
Celebs love the slashed biker jean trend! You know what I’m talking about, those super skinny jeans that are slashed from there to you know where! I suppose they are okay though. Well… at least for celebs anyway. I mean, they aren’t exactly the easiest (not to mention practical) thing to wear. And you definitely have to have the right body type.
So what does this little ramble have to do with handbags? Nothing really! But for some reason, it was those jeans that popped into my head when I saw the ROMYGOLD Biker Slash Tote. Hmm… I wonder why! This distressed leather tote features 5 inch “slashes” running across both the front and back sides. Peeking through the holes is the bag’s same-color cotton lining.
Well, the concept is interesting at least. But something is bothering me about the design. Wouldn’t a little color peeking out be more fun? For the black version, a hot pink lining would be the perfect touch! Or metallic silver! As for the white version, I was thinking maybe a blue lining. Doesn’t that sound pretty? But I guess peekaboo color wasn’t what was on the designer’s mind. As it is, I think the bag would look good with a biker-chic outfit. However, I wouldn’t recommend mixing it with slashed biker jeans. Talk about slash overload!

Not familiar with this brand. I wonder if the quality is there, or just the looks.
Does this come in gray? I think a dark gray version with a pink on the interior would look fabulous. Perfect for any season.
I’m just not really that crazy over it. It looks cool in the first picture, but that’s probably just because I love her jeans. The second picture, it looks too boxy. It needs to have more of a slouchy shape to it.
I have this bag in the black, but I wish I got it in the white. Would have been perfect for summer.
