The Limited Edition Dooney & Bourke Hayden Panettiere Designer Handbag

November 8, 2007

The Limited Edition Dooney & Bourke Hayden Panettiere Designer Handbag
Last season Emma Roberts was the star “handbag designer over at Dooney & Bourke, which resulted in the ugly sausage-looking weiner bag (I’m sure you dooney fans know what bag I am talking about).

Now for the winter season handbag collection, the designer fashion brand Dooney & Bourke has a fresh new addition to their “Designed by a Celebrityâ€? hall of fame – Hero’s super star Hayden Panettiere.

Pictured above is the juicy new addition to Dooney’s Limited Edition handbag line. It will retail for slightly more than the average Dooney and Bourke handbag since it is a Limited Edition piece. The retail of this bag is about $500. Mark your calendars, this newbie will be available early December – right before the Holiday season! How convenient.

Designer Purse Deal: The Kooba Nina & Meredith Handbag
Finally eluxury updated their stock of unsold designer handbags in the sale section by adding a range of purses priced up to 60% off. A couple of the gems in the crowd that left me questioning how it’s possible this bag didn’t sell out last year when it was introduced are both by Kooba, the small sized Nina and the large Meredith large shoulder bag. Both the pieces are dressed in a supple Italian lambskin with contoured seams and gathered details on front. This bag also features polished brass hardware, rolled leather handles, a removable chunky link chain shoulder strap with clasp attachments, and a flap top with push-lock closure. Also both are priced at about $200 off retail.

A couple other totally noteworthy bags priced to sell that you must check out if in the need to save some cash (it’s almost the holiday season) include the fabulous Dior Gaucho Croc Embroidered Medium Saddle Bag on sale for $1,536 (was $2,560), Gwen Steffani’s new east-west style L.A.M.B. Aviano Satchel on sale for $385 (was $550), and Marc-ey Marc Jacobs fun Tinted Core Denim Jazz Bag on sale for $229 (was $328)

The L.A.M.B. Signature Chateau Wristlet Clutch
Love this new bag by L.A.M.B.

It comes with a detachable chain link strap, which is so perfect for a couple of reasons. During the day it can be attached to one of your large totes or handbags for easy access when not wanting to dig through to locate your wallet. Or when night rolls around, simply ditch the big purse and wear it as a wristlet or detach to carry in hand.

Heidi Klum Handbags at Monsoon Accessorize

September 18, 2007

Heidi Klum Handbags at Monsoon Accessorize
Back in March Bag Bliss revealed the news that the brilliant 19-year-old British runway model Lily Cole, designed an array of vibrant rainbow colored bags for the company Accessorize (Monsoon’s sister company). Since that line sold out, Monsoon started a new model-designed line, and this time they picked the 34-year-old Project Runway host Heidi Klum.

Here is two of the top Heidi Klum for Accessorize bags featured on their site, the Poiret Ombre and the PVC Boxy Bag. The Poiret is pretty fun bag, dressed with multicolored embroidered beadwork. While the PVC Boxy Bag is more simple and less trendy, dressed in cream-colored pvc with a fold-over lip. Both bags are designed with long comfortable straps and a spacious interior.

Best part, these bags can be found on the accessorize site where they retail for under $100! To be exact, the Poiret Ombre Bag retails for $80, while the PVC Boxy costs only $50.

Song Hye Kyo (Celine “Miss Song Bag) is coming to America!

September 10, 2007

Song Hye Kyo (Celine “Miss Song Bag) is coming to America!
Back in July Bag Bliss revealed the news and sparked the interest of many Celine enthusiasts that a new Celine bag designed by Korean Actress Song Hye Kyo, called the “Miss Song, was expected to be released this fall, but sadly reported only in Asia. Since the news broke the label noticed that the new limited edition bag (which basically looks like Celine’s Bittersweet purse) also sparked interest in Europe as well as in the US (well duh), so have decided to release a limited number of purses to the Celine boutiques around the world.

Keep an eye out. This L.E. newbie should be arriving on store shelves soon…

side note: Song Hye Kyo is the first Korean star to have an international designer bag named after her. Congrats.
