Back in March BagBliss reported to you that the Ferg (Stacy Ferguson) was set to design two new purse collections for Kipling. Well they just had the launch party which means if you are dying to get your hands on one of these bags, the time is soon. Her new Fall collection will be in stores by September 1st at select Kipling boutiques nationwide.

Pictured above, dressed in a little black Chanel dress (that seriously looks like a bunch of pills glued on the chest) and heels with her Kipling bag on arm, it’s the Fergalicious singer at the N.Y.C. launch party for her new handbag line.

Kicking myself for not getting one of new (gwen stefani) L.A.M.B. fall bags back when Nordy’s was having that huge half yearly designer sale. Now those cute bags are marked back to their fullest and even sitting on the virtual shelves of eBay for the full price. Bummer, but still even though the L.A.M.B. purses were marked a couple hundred off a couple weeks ago, the bags are still priced at a reasonable level for what you get. Style, quality and function.

The L.A.M.B. bags were pretty much a hit when they were first introduced. I never snatched one up because those bags are over populating Seattle. Lately everyone and their mom have been walking around with the L.A.M.B. Love Capri Satchel Handbag. Why? Well with a price range of under $650, these bags are hit.

L.A.M.B. Fall Handbag Sale!
You heard me correct. Right now over at Nordy’s they are having the Half Yearly extravaganza on all new Fall designer goodies, which includes the L.A.M.B. signature handbags. That means you get to keep a hefty chunk of cash on the latest styles!! Ahh crazy huh..

Gwen at War with Forever21
Looks like Diane Von Furstenberg isn’t the only one taking a bite out of inexpensive-trendy fashion company Forever 21. Apparently the singer / fashion designer Gwen Stefani is currently at war with F21 for trademark infringement of her Harajuku Lovers fashion line, in particular, the handbags.

Papers filed in Los Angeles Federal Court claim Forever 21 is marketing, promoting and selling products featuring a design “virtually indistinguishable” from Harajuku’s signature heart & box logo. The lawsuit claims Forever 21 “changed a couple of words, ‘Harajuku’ to ‘Forever’ and ‘Lovers’ to ‘Love’, in the Heart Box trademark which are inconspicuous and likely to go unnoticed by a consumer”.

Well I am not surprised. Have you been in Forever21? All of their clothes, handbags and shoes are designer inspired. Well that can be said for a lot of other similar companies…

Harajuku Lovers VS Dooney’s Candy
Both bags named “Candy�? are dressed in a suit of taste-y candy. But who does it best? Which would you wear? The eye-catching Dooney and Bourke candy tassel handbag or the Harajuku Lovers Candy (even though there isn’t really any candy – more of sweets) tote?

Personally my vote is for the Harajuku Lovers Candy tote. It’s more casual and comfortable to carry as a on-the-go day bag. I can totally see myself using it as a beach bag or in replace of my market tote which I have been using a lot lately in replace of using plastic bags. The Dooney bag is unique (not favored in the Bag Forum) but there is just too much going on. The design is cluttered. The Dooney bag is like a candy bin and the Harjuku is like a handful of your favorite sweets.

What do you guys think? Dooney or the Harajuku Lovers??

Kate Moss For Longchamp
Kate Moss isn’t new to Longchamp. For the last few seasons the supermodel has appeared in their advertisements, now she has helped add the finishing touches to Longchamp’s Legend purse.

Jo Walker from Longchamp told Vogue “She (Moss) fell in love with it,�? Walker continued “She immediately suggested a red lining to contrast with the black leather and the end result is the Legend.�?

Kate Moss created the bag alongside artistic director Sophie de la Fontaine (granddaughter of Longchamp founder Jean Cassegrain). Price range for this newbie run (around) $980 for the large, $890 for the medium, and $650 for the small.

Mary Norton to Name Purse After Reese Witherspoon
Designer Mary Norton, created the first few MOO ROO (nicknames of her two daughters, Micah and Reilly) bags on her dining room table as gifts for friends. Then within the next few years the label Moo Roo became widely popular among celebrities and bagista’s all over the world.

Mary Norton is currently undergoing a name change from Moo Roo to Mary Norton. When the changeover is complete the new handbags will be marked with the new name, Mary Norton. The new change also gives birth to a wider selection of couture handbags, from croc-embossed totes to gold-brushed clutches with satin underlay. Also rumor has it around the bag-o-sphere that one of those bags will be named after Actress Reese Witherspoon. The bag lady Mary Norton was on a hunt for a tag name for a new clutch accessory when she saw the “elegant” Legally Blonde star on the red carpet at an awards show. The designer says, “It (the clutch) has a clean, classic look. It made me think of Reese, who is a down-to-earth mom and an elegant woman.” The new evening minaudiere clutch, which features a decorative jeweled clasp, will be available shortly at MooRoo.com or at Mary Norton Boutiques for around $1k.

Dooney’s Sausage: The New Emma Roberts Bag
So about that Emma Roberts Dooney Bag… some of you may have seen the Extra video staring Emma Roberts about her bag that “she designed� for Dooney and Bourke. How quickly we all forgot the original Emma Bag that she had a part in designing. I’m not saying that she did or didn’t help out in designing this second version, but I am saying that her first kick at it sucked, big time. And yes I’m sure the designer’s over at the D and B headquarters realized it and pushed for this newer (I guess) improved design. Do I like the new Emma Bag?? Well, it sure is a lot more nicer looking. But I’m still going to have to go with a nay on my side. It looks like a sausage wiener from the side!!

Details on the improved Emma Roberts Bag: The new and improved sausage-looking bag is made of buttery soft glove leather, with bridle leather trim and solid brass hardware. Available in two sizes – The small size measures 11″ length x 4″ width x 4.5″ height and retails for $210. The larger size measures 15″ length x 4.5″ width x 4″ height and retails for $235.
