If you are looking for a price-y plain black pouch, check out Kate Moss for Topshop’s studded “rock & roll meets chic� purse. Yes finally, for those of you have been patiently waiting to take a glance at the new fashion line wait no more, wander on over to Topshop to see the whole Kate Moss line.

Personally I like (not love) the Kate Moss for Topshop Bag but I dislike the price (for what you are getting). It’s a simple black drawstring leather pouch embellished with moon and star studded details and features really long dual shoulder straps. Retail price for will set you back $160. Beyonce Knowles Style: Milly, Louboutin and Dereon
This outfit had great potential.

Over this past weekend Beyonce was spotted strolling out of Australia’s Melbourne airport wearing a gorgeous girly colored geometric print mini dress, stunning Christian Louboutin Fox Trot shoes, and a unique House of Dereon leopard print handbag. I love her shoes and this dress, they look fine together, but that handbag just throws off the whole look. She should have worn a bag that didn’t have such a wild design, but rather a purse that accents the dress. The bag is just on it’s own.

Jessica Simpson does Rafe’s Spring ’06 Rivington Handbag
Oh that Jessica Simpson. . . . Spring 2006 Rafe released the Rivington handbag collection that was designed with strong memorable features such as the double row of studded details, cute knotted sides, dangling tassel zip pull, double wrapped knotted handles, and accented with antique brass hardware on the soft boxy style bag. . . . one year later, Spring 2007 Jessica Simpson released a mirror image of Rafe’s bag. Way to go Jess.

Designer Handbag News: Kate Moss for Longchamp
The world’s most popular supermodel Kate Moss isn’t done with leaving her mark in the fashion world. She recently introduced her collection for Topshop, now she has helped redesign the Legend handbag for French fashion house Longchamp.

Jo Walker from Longchamp told Vogue “She (Moss) fell in love with it,” Walker continued “She immediately suggested a red lining to contrast with the black leather and the end result is the Legend.”

Kate isn’t new to Longchamp. For the last few seasons the supermodel has appeared in their advertisements, now she has helped add the finishing touches to Longchamp’s Legend purse. The bag was created by artistic director Sophie de la Fontaine who has always loved the shape of the original seventies style doctor’s bag and therefore was inspired to recreate this everyday essential.

Someone Told Her That Her Design Was Ugly
Uh-hu… Looks like somebody over at Dooney & Bourke told little miss Emma Roberts that her original Emma Handbag was ugly.

Actually it looks like they made a line (called Madras) out of her patchwork idea then tossed out the rest of the bag and started over from scratch. The new and improved sausage-looking bag is made of buttery soft glove leather, with bridle leather trim and solid brass hardware. It comes in two sizes and ten colors, from basic black and brown to red, white, and marine blue.

The new and improved Emma Handbag line will soon be at Dooney.com.

L.A.M.B. Montego Tote
This bag is overpopulating Emerald City! It’s an infestation. I swear every block I turn there is somebody strolling down the streets with the L.A.M.B. Montego Tote on arm. I mean it’s not ugly or anything. It’s just soon as this bag hit store shelves at Nordy’s it seems like everyone and their friend’s mom snatched one up.

Designed by pop-singer Gwen Stefani, the L.A.M.B. (Love.Angel.Music.Baby.) Montego Tote is dressed with a coated logo canvas, trimmed with grained leather, accented with polished golden hardware and topped off with a striped belt that races down the front and back that clamps shut with square double-L buckle. The interior is lined with the striped logo canvas lining with a leather-trimmed zip pocket, a few pouch pockets, and small flap pocket with snap closure. Measurements: 14″ x 13″ x 6″. Price: $550

Model Lily Cole Has Designed a Line of Purses
19 year old British super model, soon to be Cambridge educated Lily Cole pictured above with the new rainbow bag she designed for the company Monsoon Accessorize.

“She is one of the most outstanding models of this generation, and absolutely we are enchanted to work with her” – founder of Monsoon Accessorize, Peter Simon.

The satin purse she has created is painted with streaks of vibrant colors such as hot pink, warm yellow and spiced orange and topped off with a chunky black plastic shoulder strap. Price of this bag retails for $70.
