Alex Toy Jack Tote
You know me, I have this thing for lesser-known designers. So is it any surprise that I am writing yet another post about a designer you have probably never heard of? Of course not! I enjoy sharing with you all of the unique treasures that lay hidden within the world of handbags! So here we go, I want you to meet the Jack Tote from a designer known as Alex Toy!
Who is Alex Toy? Well, Alex spent many years working for other handbag designers such as Botkier, Gryson, Olivia Harris, and MCM. Today, he still designs for TriBeCa Design. But he also has his own collection, which includes the Jack Tote you see pictured here. What I find fascinating about this designer is that he only makes 99 of each style each season. The colors are unique for each season and will never be reproduced, so I guess you could say that everything is always “limited edition”. Even more fascinating is that he wants his designs to appeal to both women and men. I can definitely see that with the Jack Tote! It is very vintage-ish, perfect for a retro-chic look (women) or a simple rugged look (men). I love the ultra durable oiled canvas body and honey colored leather trim. The tote can be carried over the shoulder or in hand and it’s big enough to carry your laptop or even a change of clothes for an overnight trip.

I didn’t know that Alex Toy designed for MCM. That’s a good piece of trivia
About the bag, well it’s kinda cool looking!
This bag is fabulous. I love the vintage worn leather trim, it kinda reminds me of vintage Louis Vuitton bags (kwim?)
I love everything about this bag.
This would make such a great kick around tote! Perfect for school. I love that its logo less… this bag is so fab it doesn’t need that mask!
