Andrea Brueckner Cardiff

This isn’t the first time I have written about a black and white handbag. There is just something about black and white. The high contrast is bold and eye catching, whereas the lack of color is chic and refined. You really can’t go wrong with black and white, it truly is a classic look! But if you think black and white has to look formal and stuffy, then think again. I have found a handbag that is laid back enough for everyday wear. Introducing the Andrea Brueckner Cardiff Medium Satchel!

What sets this handbag out from the rest? The washed lambskin leather! It’s soft, smooshy, and highly distressed. The look sort of reminds me of crumpled up paper that has been flattened back out. The unusual texture makes this piece very different from the prim and proper black and white handbags I have grown accustomed to seeing. The smooth, rolled handles offer up the perfect balance to the washed lambskin leather. This play on texture (smooth vs distressed) works very well for this piece and really helps to reinforced the contrast of the black and white. I would suggest pairing this piece with some dark jeans and your favorite white tee. It would make an unexpected addition to your casual style!

I use to have a bag by this designer but long since sold it. Amazing leather! This one is pretty but I don’t really like the black and white.
