Antik Batik Besace Hida Fushia Bag
Antik Batik is one of my favorite designers for boho-chic handbags. The brains behind the brand, Gabriella Cortese, was born in Italy and studied art in Paris. Her designs are reflection of her travels. She learned the art of Batik while in Bali and she was exposed to hand-dying/embroidery techniques while in India. The result is some exotic designs that still have some function. I’m always excited to see what’s new from this designer. So when I spotted the Antik Batik Hida Besace Bag, I had to swoop in for a closer look!
This is such a beautiful piece! I was immediately drawn to the pretty pink coloring that makes up the suede fringe. The body of this bag is equally intriguing though. The background is made up of a pretty floral print fabric. The focal point features a brightly colored beaded design. I’m not sure what you would call the design, it sort of reminds me of a flower. Finally, the focal point is encircled by a braided leather trim. What I like most about this bag, however, is the interior. Lift up that flap closure and you’ll find a double compartment complete with zipper closures. See what I mean about functional?

No fringe, no fringe
I saw this bag in person, looks so much better in RL!
Omg this bag is so lovely. I love all the colors!
I like this bag, alot. But in other colors. Maybe shades of gray and black. That way I can wear it year round.
