Bags, Baubles, and Bottles! Wine and Bags Extravaganza
In Seattle this weekend? Well, if you like purses and wine tastings – you will love this new fashion event at the “W” in Seattle on Sunday, March 11th. The event, “Bags & Baubles and Bottles” is a fundraiser for Gilda’s Club of Seattle, a meeting place where men, women and children living with cancer, along with their families, partners and friends, join with others to build social and emotional support.
Each of the 300 women (and men) who attend this fundraiser will be required to bring a new or almost new purse or handbag for the silent auction portion of the event.
12 local boutiques will be there with their most current bag and purse designs on display.

Mark your calendar Seattleites, this Wine and Bags Extravaganza will take place this Sunday March 11th from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the W Hotel (1112 4th Ave. Seattle). Entrance fee $40

Jennifer are you going to this event????
I’m undecided… I don’t want to fork over $40 and have to bring a handbag. It should be either or. Also the cheapest bag I have is a coach tote. Can we bring wallets ;) I mean seriously though, I bet the majority of bags that will be up for auction are cheap thrift-store-find purses or ones made by independent designers. Oh and not to forget, all of these bags will go for way over their retail – hello charity auction.
Also, I am surprised Bag Borrow or Steal isn’t participating in this event. Are they not located in Seattle.
