Beirn Metallic Meg Tote
Beirn (pronounced “burn”) is known for bringing us brightly colored, exotic handbags at an affordable price point. Created by Rita Overzat and her two daughters, the brand first became famous when their Jenna Hobo was spotted on the arm of Sarah Jessica Parker (AKA Carrie Bradshaw) in the Sex and the City movie. Recently, however, it appears as though Beirn has been going for a slightly different look — Metallics! Introducing the Beirn Metallic Meg Tote. And since metallics are not just for the fall/winter months anymore, this genuine watersnake tote would make an excellent investment all-around. The gentle pleating really softens the silhouette of this oversized tote, making this the perfect accessory for day or night.
In my opinion, the Beirn Metallic Meg Tote would look great paired with an all-black outfit, whether it be a tailored suit or a tunic/leggings combo. My favorite part about this tote, however, is the easy-access closure. When you have a bag as big as this one, it is nice when you can actually see inside it when you’re searching for something. Plus the multi-function pockets located near the top of the bag provide a convenient place to keep your cell phone and keys.

I honestly wouldn’t do full price for this. For one thing it’s metallic, which is so seasonal.

I love the all-black look suggestion. I’ve never been able to pull off a metallic bag. It always looks off with what I’m wearing.

First of all, metallic is not seasonal. It’s worn year round. Most “fashion rules” like this have gone out the door.
The bag is too big for that type of metallic. This is coming from someone who loves anything shiny and blinged out.
