CC Skye Lady Bag

A favorite among celebrities, CC Skye has always made good looking handbags! My all time favorite style from this designer is probably the Turner Hobo (as seen on “Gossip Girl” Katie Cassidy). But I stumbled across a new CC Skye handbag that I think will become a very close second! Introducing the CC Skye Lady Bag!

Just like its name implies, this bag is very lady-like. The simple name is complemented by a simple trapezoid shape, which starts larger at the bottom and tapers up toward the top. I love the flap front and classic “mademoiselle”- like twist lock closure. I also like the croc-embossing adorning the flap, which adds an little extra hint of luxe to this style without taking over the entire bag.

The short top handle is perfect for a glamorous handheld look, while the optional shoulder strap provides some versatility. Hey, it may not be Chanel, but the CC Skye Lady Bag still has a lot going for it. Sophisticated, yet not overly stuffy, this lovely piece will certainly make you feel fabulous! So be the lady you have always wanted to be! And that is something I think even Coco herself would agree with! Plus this bag is large enough to hold all of your daily essentials so it is perfect for everyday use as well!

I have always liked CC Skye bags and would love to have this one. I wish that it came in some other color than black.

I love the flap top (a must in the rain) and the trapezoid shape is really unique.

I love the croc detailing and turn-lock closure. Little details but really add to it… I think this bag is just stunning. A huge yay from me!

FYI the stock image isn’t the most glamorous picture of this bag. I think this bag is fabulous in person.

Wow, love it. Saw it about a month ago online and fell in love. How tall are you if you don’t mind me asking? I would like to know if this bag would overwhelm a petite frame? You look pretty tall in your pic.

I just found this bag in black on a sale table at Bloomingdale’s at Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto. It had no tags or price and I was unfamiliar with the brand. In the end they said it was a return from an internet order, and they had to search to find the SKU. It apparently started out at $748 but with various sales and discounts, I got it for $248. They called it the “bridgett” on the sales slip, but I found out it’s a “lady” instead – and the “lady” appears to have a lower retail price than the bridgette. I am looking for evidence on the two original retail prices of these bags so I can tell if I paid more than I should have!
