Christian Louboutin Maelita Flannel Bowler
There’s no doubt about it, flannel is a fundamental fabric for Fall. But when I think of flannel, I normally think of a man’s flannel shirt. You know, that one that makes my husband look like a lumberjack. Every once in awhile, I will see a flannel frock pop up in the women’s section. And that school girl trend with the flannel skirts was kind of cute too! Of the many things flannel in this world though, never before have I seen a flannel handbag! Introducing the Christian Louboutin Maelita Flannel Bowler!
Flannel? Handbags? Really?! I must admit, I found myself quite intrigued when I first laid eyes on this piece. The navy flannel that makes up its body actually looks warm and inviting. The black leather handles and trim provide just the right amount of contrast. However, I must admit I am a bit partial to the blue and black combo thing. Plus I love the pleats and folds that create a sophisticated bow tie-look. Pulling it all together, however, is that lovely gold-tone hardware. Their domed shape and high polish are somewhat military-esque, which would fit in nicely with all those military pieces that are floating around this season.
Find the Christian Louboutin Maelita at Luisaviaroma, where it is available in Navy!

Flannel? Wool? Why? If it was made of leather or even (evening-ish) silk it would be soooo much more versatile and able to be worn year-round.
Just wanted to point out that the tan one pictured is suede. This bag comes in both materials.
I think this bag is fabulous!
That is way too much money for a bag made out of the same material as a set of $20 pajamas. It actually looks cheap especially with that ugly handle.
Nay in the flannel. Lol. Leather would be such a yay!
Cute bag! Love it in the brown.
