J.J. Winters Single Zip Bag in Iris

In order to help make ends meet, my dad took on a second job as an auto mechanic at some point during my childhood. I was pretty young back then, but there is one memory that stands out in my mind for some reason. I remember sitting outside the shop where my dad worked and looking down at the puddles in the driveway. I could see my reflection, along with eerie-looking rainbows slowly moving and changing shape whenever the wind caused a ripple in the puddle. This memory is what popped into my mind when I saw the J.J. Winters Single Zip Bag in Iris #1. At first glance, this bag looks like the rainbows I saw in that oil-contaminated rain water. But wait… why then, is the color called “Iris #1″? It turns out that upon closer inspection, those blobs of color are actually supposed to be a pixelated floral pattern.

Well… that certainly was unexpected. Especially since I typically think of J.J. Winters bags as being suede (and fringed!). But I suppose the J.J. Winters Single Zip Bag in Iris #1 does have its charm. It would probably go well with that skinny black jeans + white T-shirt look. However, I don’t think that this is a bag that I would buy without it hitting the sale section first. After all, it is pretty trendy.

Find the J.J. Winters Single Zip Bag in Iris #1 at Revolveclothing.com, where it currently sells for $462.

Is there a clutch version of this bag? I like the pixel rainbow effect, but not on such a big bag.

This bag is really called #1? Why is that? Is there a #2?

I like the style of the bag, but not the print. It’s too trendy for me.

This is the cutest bag I’ve seen in a while. I love the design, it’s so interesting and unique. What other designer had made such a bag?

This is like a visual definition of trendy / fad. It’s going to be out of style in no more than 2 months!

My little sister just ordered this bag. It’s definitely more her style than mine. Although I may steal it from her once or twice.

That was my thought exactly. Reminds me of an oil in water puddle on the side walk. Would I wear this? Nope. lol.

I would not have guessed this was by JJ Winters!

This bag doesn’t remind me of JJ Winters. Its different form all their other fringe, suede, hobo chic handbags. This is really trendy. I can see some teeny bopper who shops at Urban Outfitters wearing this.

Yeah I have to agree, not something I would wear.
