Katherine Kwei Kate Carry All

I am in love with Katherine Kwei handbags (and no, this isn’t my first time saying it)! Over the years, I have drooled over quite a few styles from this designer and I just cannot get over how beautiful they all are! The signature Chinese eternity knots are exquisite, while the mounds of fringe are full and fun. What’s not to like? But it looks like Katherine Kwei has been exploring other avenues. Check out this Katherine Kwei Kate Carry All! That’s right, no fringe here!

There is certainly nothing wrong though with this fringe-less piece. In fact, I think it’s nice when a designer tries something new. You will notice, however, that she kept the eternity knot detail (although it is much more subtle). What I find interesting about this bag, however, is the croc embossed leather. Or, at least, what is described as croc embossed. It looks more like plant cells to me, minus the nuclei. It definitely adds some interest to this piece and I think it’s great Katherine Kwei has given the python thing a little rest. This black and silver number would be perfect for the Fall/Winter season. And, with it’s expandable sides, it would be perfect for work or play!

I have only one other bag by this designer in my closet and it’s made of snakeskin. How do you care for this? I’ve had it for about 3 years and it seems like it’s drying. Any help

About this bag – love it. It looks like the perfect work tote.

Love the look but not the size. I think the Boston version would be perfect!
