Wow, this black and white trend has really expanded! It seems like everyone is trying to get a piece of the action and new pieces are popping up left and right. That’s okay though. I happen to like this trend and there’s nothing wrong with having plenty of styles to choose from. So here is another black and white bag to add to the list. This is definitely an unusual piece. The “summer shadow” part of the name is throwing me off a little bit. Did the black and white just remind the designer of those long summer shadows? Perhaps. What do I see when I look at this piece? When I first laid eyes on this bag, I immediately thought of a penguin or a tuxedo or maybe a penguin wearing a tuxedo. All kidding aside, I do like the look of this bag. Plus I love the hidden surprise on the sides. The stripes are so much fun! I like the leather piping trim as well. It adds a nice polished touch. This bag would make a great tote for shopping, but I think it could pass for something a teensy bit less casual as well.

Is it summer yet? I can’t wait. This bag would be my pick for the season
I’m really drawn in to the simplicity of this tote. I think this would be great during the summer as beach bag and through the off-season a school tote.
I wish I could find a modeling picture online. The Nordstrom and Macys in my area don’t carry this designer.
