Milly Shiny Hobo
Lately, I’ve been obsessed with anything that channels the 20′s or 40′s style of fashion. Back then the fashion was so elegant, classy, sophisticated and well put together. Over the years it seems that that sensibility has been lost a little. Fashion is either getting more weird, plain or tighter these days. Not that those are bad, it’s just very different from back then.
For some odd reason, when I came across the Milly “Shiny” Leather Hobo I instantly thought it was an old school type of bag. The studs kind of reminded me of a vest. It kind of looks like a modern day bag with an old style twist to it.
I would definitely carry around this bag in the daytime, but I also know I would definitely take the crossbody strap off. If a bag is made to be a hobo, why to designers include a crossbody strap? It’s silly if you ask me because when you use the strap it sometimes makes the bag have this horrible slouch shape to it.
This would be the perfect handbag to have in the Fall. It’s dark but has a little lightness to it that way you can match it with a few more things. Minus the shoulder strap, I’d give this bag an A+!
You can purchase the Milly “Shiny” Leather Hobo at Nordstrom for $445.

I love this bag!
I like this. It would be great for everyday.
Not this one, but there’s another Mily purse that I like.
Its okay. Not really that crazy about it.
Oh my gosh this bag is so ugly. I’m sorry if I offended anyone but wow. So was not expecting this from Milly!
It looks dated. Not even the giant screwheads can save it.
