Missoni Metallic ZigZag Bag

Every fashionista out there heard about the grand collaboration between Italian fashion designer Missoni and Target. It came to no surprise that the collection was a sell-out hit. It was such a big hit that the retail giants’ server crashed within hours of launch time due to the numerous amount of activity its site received. Not only was I one of the few who couldn’t gain access to its online inventory, but also struggled to make a thirty-minute drive to my local Target. Clearly I missed out on the collection and going the eBay-reseller route is definitely out of the question.

Fortunately, the infamous zig-zag enthusiast can obtain a piece of ready-to-wear from the M Missoni Collection. The Metallic Cross Body Bag is one of my favorites from the bunch. The muted hues and the complimentary gold hardware gives off a nice vintage vibe as well as a great touch of fall. The famous knitting technique Missoni is known for is found on this piece as well, in a shimmery metallic effect by means of the intarsia craftsmanship. A catchy turn lock feature is always nice and a thick leather patch lines the upper portion of the chained straps for comfort purposes. It’s adorable, comfortable, and the $475 price tag is quite affordable.
