Moni Moni Splendor Intrex Bag

I was checking out the Moni Moni Splendor Intrex Bag today, when something suddenly occurred to me. I had not seen a Moni Moni handbag in ages. I was curious and looked up the last time I wrote about a bag from this designer. Turns out, it was the Moni Moni Lilies Bag and it was exactly 3 years ago to this day (February 26, 2009). Holy cow! I guess that means a post about this designer is long overdue!

Let’s face it, there is no competing with the Moni Moni Lilies Bag. However, the Splendor Intrex is still a great looking piece. Just look at that gorgeous, distressed leather! It’s so touchably soft! It gives this bag a great vintage look, as if it has already experienced many years of love. I just love the simple and slouchy shape too. And as a little added interest, the front flap pocket is embellished with a fat weave that has been threaded through from underneath. The pattern sort of reminds me of a brick patio or sidewalk. This bag is casual, but also very chic. It would look great paired with your favorite jeans and tee for the perfect weekend look.
