Some salons give you a plastic bag to cover your purse - I think to protect it from hair coloring agents that get flung around a little bit during application.... I usually just use my Purse-Pal purse hanger anyway - and I've never had a stylist 'bump it off'. I think it is because they are designed to go a bit deeper onto the table - not like the little round ones with the chain that wraps around the disk. I don't like those types - they feel very flimsy.
