Tory Burch Neon Snake Envelope Bag

Tory Burch Neon Snake Envelope Bag
The perfect statement accessory, Tory Burch “Neon Snake” Bag.

The envelope silhouette is dressed in a snake-embossed cowhide leather featuring a magnetic snap, (a pocket-less) lined interior, and the long chain strap that’s long enough to be worn as a crossbody. The strap is also detachable! Huge plus in my book. Honestly as much as I love the crossbody style, I would probably wear this much more as a clutch. The size measures in at 4″ height x 6.5″ length x 1″ depth ~ ideal for a simple card wallet, lipstick and phone.

Primary New York by Cleo Schroeder ‘Block’ Python Clutch

Has anyone ever heard of Primary New York? I never have, but I stumbled upon the brand today and thought it was worth a closer look. They are pretty new to the handbag world. Designer Cleo Schroeder is the name behind the brand. She is originally from Vancouver, British Columbia and she began her career in costume design. In 2007, she decided to attend Parsons School of Design in New York. This is where she stayed and launched her first collection under the Primary name in 2011. It isn’t clear whether the first collection included handbags or if those were added later. What is clear is her love for simplicity and high contrast in her designs. That is what caught my eye when I saw the Primary New York Color Block Python Clutch!

The Row Classic Bag

The Row Classic Bag
The Row ‘Classic’ Bag is one of those that I would seriously wear the life out of! Knowing this in advance I would definitely take extra precaution and give a little more extra care from day one. Since it’s a lightly colored purse I can foresee color transfer to be an issue, but not enough to detour be from it’s beauty.

I live in a darker climate (Seattle) so 10 months out of the year my wardrobe consists of shades of grey and this neutral shade is the perfect accessory to go with. And this bag is most definitely wearable during the spring and summer seasons. It’s versatile color, clean lined design and style will remain timeless.

Gucci Guccissima Sukey Bag

Gucci Cellarius Guccissima Sukey Bag
I’ve never been shy about expressing my dislike for handbags that are completely covered with a designers logo. It’s a bit showy to me, almost like a walking advertisement. But to each their own, right? It has always been my opinion that a quality made leather handbag stands levels above a canvas fabric signature print purse. So with that being said, I tend to go for timeless handbags without having the logo plastered all over the exterior. However there are a couple bags out there that I would make an exception for, one of those bags being the Gucci Cellarius Guccisima Sukey Bag.

Rebecca Minkoff Bright Crisscross Bonnie Satchel

Rebecca Minkoff sure has a bad case of Spring Fever! That’s okay though, I have a really bad case as well. I don’t know what the weather is like where she is, but they are expecting a rain/snow mix this week where I live. Spring has been so SLOW to get here. So yes, I am itching like crazy right now! That’s why I am so happy to see all the Spring-y pieces Rebecca Minkoff has to offer this season.

My latest obsession is the Rebecca Minkoff Bright Crisscross Bonnie Satchel!

This lovely satchel is really eye catching! I love the woven leather exterior. It creates a nice seasonal look without the use of straw. In fact, the contrasting blue and white creates a geometric print that looks almost nautical in a way. And the brown leather trim adds the perfect accent to this piece. This satchel really looks like something that could stick with you all the way until Fall!

The casual feeling is perfect for those carefree days strolling around the boardwalk or even your local farmers market. However, it is big enough to hold a laptop too, so you could certainly take this satchel just about anywhere!

Finish the look:
Rebecca Minkoff Bright Crisscross Bonnie Satchel. $550
Club Monaco Lois Shirtdress. $198
Jenni Kayne D’Orsay Flats. $498

Marc Jacobs Single Quilted Crossbody Bag

Lets talk color for just a second. Remember a couple months back when Pantone declared emerald as the ‘It Color’ for 2013 and everyone followed suit. Trendsetters, stylists, and designers all started coveting this hot new shade – Green for Spring! But in recent weeks I’ve noticed that color has started to dwindle off the radar. Could it be just that everyone is over this shade and opting for more summer-esque shades?

Tory Burch Robinson Spectator Mini Cross Body Bag

Tory Burch Robinson Spectator Mini Cross Body Bag
Spring is here, which can only mean pastel colors are in and I love it! Pink and mint are literally everywhere in the fashion world right now and I’m in heaven because of it. Pink and mint are two of my favorite colors so the more we see it the happier I am. I do wish I owned a mint handbag or another pink one. At the moment, I have the Christian Dior “Pochette” style bag from the Girly collection that debuted quite a while ago. It’s old, in great condition and I still love it but I would love a new pink bag! When I saw the Tory Burch Robinson “Spectator” Mini Cross Body Bag my mouth dropped. I absolutely adore Tory Burch and this bag is adorable! It’s little, pink and perfect for Spring.

I am ready for spring’s delicate hues though it seems like some fashion moguls are having a difficult time leaving behind winter’s black. Some newly released items arrive rockin’ in heavy-handed tints, such as the Skunk Paillettes Sequin Wristlet. For the record I’m not name-calling, Marc Jacobs observably named this oversized glimmery clutch after the easily identifiable mammal and coveted it into a finer thing. I’d have to say that everything about this clutch is quite attractive.

Mulberry Bags in Bright Apricot for Spring Summer 2013

mulberry bright apricot
Seems like a lot of designers are dressing their bags in eye catching bold hues for the spring / summer 2013 season, but here is Mulberry opting for something a little bit more muted. I think the apricot shade is very classic and ultra-feminine. The color palettes you can pair with this shade are endless. Also I would say you could totally get away with wearing this color beyond the warmer summer seasons!
