I am ready for spring’s delicate hues though it seems like some fashion moguls are having a difficult time leaving behind winter’s black. Some newly released items arrive rockin’ in heavy-handed tints, such as the Skunk Paillettes Sequin Wristlet. For the record I’m not name-calling, Marc Jacobs observably named this oversized glimmery clutch after the easily identifiable mammal and coveted it into a finer thing. I’d have to say that everything about this clutch is quite attractive.

Seems like a lot of designers are dressing their bags in eye catching bold hues for the spring / summer 2013 season, but here is Mulberry opting for something a little bit more muted. I think the apricot shade is very classic and ultra-feminine. The color palettes you can pair with this shade are endless. Also I would say you could totally get away with wearing this color beyond the warmer summer seasons!

When it comes to fashion I love classy, simple and sophisticated looking things. I’m the type of girl that always dresses up even if I’m just going to the grocery store. Some say I’m weird but is there anything wrong with wanting to be put together at all times? I love my hair and makeup to always be done and heels are a must. When I think of classy designer brands, Yves Saint Laurent immediately comes to mind. However, the fashion house changed their name so now it’s just Saint Laurent. I currently do now own anything by Saint Laurent but I sure do love the Y Ligne Mini Pochette Crossbody Bag.

I’m obsessed with the color mint and I believe it to be one of the most beautiful colors in the world. Mint is also a beautiful and perfect color to wear during the Spring. Color-blocking is still a hot trend right now, so don’t pack up those bags just yet. I have a love-hate relationship with the color-block trend. I think it looks fabulous when like colors are used (neighbors on the colorwheel) but not when the colors are random (like pairing orange, blue and brown on one bag). It’s too chaotic for my style. I know some may look at all the different color combinations as trendy, but I prefer more of the classic look. To me this Miu Miu Madras Two-Tone Bag will look fabulous even beyond the “Color-Block Trend” deadline.

How beautiful is this bag? I absolutely love the petite design combined with the jewelry-like chain strap. I recently started collecting Lanvin jewelry and I can’t get enough of it (I posted my latest piece on my instagram feed.) I love the chain strap with the ribbon detailing woven throughout, it’s very reminiscent of Lanvin’s jewelry line. And there’s more to this bag that I love besides the stunning statement strap, the body of the bag is made of multidirectional topstitch quilted calfskin. I for one love Lanvin’s leather – I have been saying this for YEARS – Lanvin leather is such a big deal. It’s soo soft! I have one Lanvin handbag in my collection and I absolutely love that bag to death. I’ve had it for a few years now and it has remained in amazing condition, the quality is there.
