Spring is here, which can only mean pastel colors are in and I love it! Pink and mint are literally everywhere in the fashion world right now and I’m in heaven because of it. Pink and mint are two of my favorite colors so the more we see it the happier I am. I do wish I owned a mint handbag or another pink one. At the moment, I have the Christian Dior “Pochette” style bag from the Girly collection that debuted quite a while ago. It’s old, in great condition and I still love it but I would love a new pink bag! When I saw the Tory Burch Robinson “Spectator” Mini Cross Body Bag my mouth dropped. I absolutely adore Tory Burch and this bag is adorable! It’s little, pink and perfect for Spring.

I am ready for spring’s delicate hues though it seems like some fashion moguls are having a difficult time leaving behind winter’s black. Some newly released items arrive rockin’ in heavy-handed tints, such as the Skunk Paillettes Sequin Wristlet. For the record I’m not name-calling, Marc Jacobs observably named this oversized glimmery clutch after the easily identifiable mammal and coveted it into a finer thing. I’d have to say that everything about this clutch is quite attractive.

Seems like a lot of designers are dressing their bags in eye catching bold hues for the spring / summer 2013 season, but here is Mulberry opting for something a little bit more muted. I think the apricot shade is very classic and ultra-feminine. The color palettes you can pair with this shade are endless. Also I would say you could totally get away with wearing this color beyond the warmer summer seasons!

When it comes to fashion I love classy, simple and sophisticated looking things. I’m the type of girl that always dresses up even if I’m just going to the grocery store. Some say I’m weird but is there anything wrong with wanting to be put together at all times? I love my hair and makeup to always be done and heels are a must. When I think of classy designer brands, Yves Saint Laurent immediately comes to mind. However, the fashion house changed their name so now it’s just Saint Laurent. Color-blocking is still a hot trend right now, so don’t pack up those bags just yet. I have a love-hate relationship with the color-block trend. I think it looks fabulous when like colors are used (neighbors on the colorwheel) but not when the colors are random (like pairing orange, blue and brown on one bag). It’s too chaotic for my style. I know some may look at all the different color combinations as trendy, but I prefer more of the classic look.
