Rebecca Minkoff Morning After

Who is that hiding behind the glimmery studs and enriched leather? It’s the iconic Morning After bag by no other than Rebecca Minkoff. This piece never fails to make a comeback each season, and every time it makes the spotlight, Madame MAM seems to be better than ever! Expect to find circular studs with bulls-eye engravement at the ends, a catchy feature on the Hypno Stud Morning After Mini.

Look beyond the array of studs and discover buttery soft leather that you could not find on the first batch of Morning After pieces. That’s because Rebecca Minkoff has this collection specially made with the rich texture of Italian calfskin leathers. So if you thought your classic satchels’ leather felt great, just wait until you run your hands on one of these deluxe leather satchel. Most of the great features that make a Morning After piece what it is are found on here, except tassel fans won’t have that extra zipper detail swooshing at their sides. But the great set of studs makes up for the missing tassel feature as the Mini makes a great size to try this dazzling satchel, that’s if excess hardware is new to you.

Make your pick at Deep red or Camel leather, and discover the rest of her collection through: Rebecca Minkoff

Wait, why is this bag so much?? It’s a MAM right? Why does it cost 50% more than all the others?

I believe RM made this design for the Saks exclusive collection before. I distinctly remembered seeing a picture of the Saks collection and it had the MAM’s in this style. Unfortunately I think it’s in a very few stores because the Saks I’ve been to, never had this so-called “exclusive collection.” So I dunno. I remembered one of her exclusive bags had Rose Gold studs on it too, which explains the ridiculous price. I’ll try to find the link for it and post it on TBF.

The leather looks so gorgeous though, smooshy, yummy and I simply love the color. I love the studs too, but I think it’s too much on this bag. I always liked the original Stud MAM’s though, with the studs on the piping/sides and on the flap… rocker chic and beautiful. This one I’m not a big fan of it.

However I would LOVE to see it in person, it might look better once I do. I never liked the heavy metal flame satchel until I saw it at Bloomies, then I fell in love with it. I’m sure I’ll feel the same with this bag too. :D

Yea you’re right. This was suppose to be the “exclusive” saks bag.

I do like the hypnotizing hardware though! Not worth the crazy price though. No way.

This was suppose to be a SAKS exclusive bag, which is why it’s so much. Also as so is the hardware made with Rose Gold?? As SSL pointed out, that was why the “SAKS exclusive” collection was so much. If this doesn’t have it, then what are you paying for? The look? Uh, looks like any ordinary MAM to me. I don’t get it. Still cute though.

I could never afford that! I love Rebecca Minkoff bags because they were priced so affordable, now this. What a let down. Even if she’s trying to branch out by creating a secondary, more expensive line, why on earth is it called the same thing, have the same logo, and the same exact style. It’s $500 MAM with a $900 price tag. What’s going on here.
