Rebecca Minkoff trompe l’oeil Morning After Bag

As I always state, Rebecca Minkoff is one of my all time favorite designers. She hasn’t been around that long but ever since she came out with the Morning After Bag, I was hooked. Anything she designs is pure genius, iconic and definitely timeless. I could literally see myself carrying so many of her bags. If I wasn’t on a budget, I’d probably have 50 or more Rebecca Minkoff bags in my collection! For now, I’ll have to settle for just two.

The “Canvas” trompe l’oeil Morning After Bag made me chuckle. At first glimpse I thought it was just like my Morning After Mini, just in canvas. Upon closer observation, I saw that the whole bag was in canvas! The front pocket and the hardware weren’t there! The bag kind of looks like a painting just a stylish one!

It’s also a great bag because if you’ve always wanted a “Morning After Bag or a Morning After Mini and couldn’t afford it I would say the canvas version is the next best thing. It might not fully be what you wanted, but it’s pretty darn close! I also love how the handbag still has a zip top closure. I’m not a fan when bags are completely open on the top so this earned extra points for having a closure.

Overall, the “Canvas” trompe l’oeil Morning After Bag is cute and fun. I like it!
