Sass & Bide Missing in Action Bag
Sass & Bide was founded in 1999 by Heidi Middleton and Sarah-Jane Clarke. The label was originally intended to be a sexy skinny jeans line, but it expanded into a full clothing line after only two years. Somewhere along the way though, handbags were added to the collection. A good idea? I certainly think so! Just check out this beautiful piece I have pictured here! Introducing the Sass & Bide Missing in Action Bag!
It was that gorgeous fuchsia color that initially caught my eye. It doesn’t matter what season it is, fuchsia is always one of my favorite colors when it comes to handbags. What I find intriguing though, is the fact that this bag is made of canvas. The canvas was made into thin strips, almost like extra thick shoe laces. The strips are intricately woven together creating a basket-like design. I love the loops and swirls that make up the design along the bottom of the bag. They remind me of whimsical vines and flowers. It gives this bag a vintage, boho-chic vibe without looking too much like 1970′s macrame. This bag would look adorable paired with other vintage-inspired pieces. I’m thinking bell-bottom jeans and a simple floaty top.

I like the woven detailing
I’m all for this boho-chic vibe
When did they start making bags? I love their clothing.
I love everything about this bag except for the fringe detail. It’s just not me. But I love the color and everything else.
I have a few pair of their jeans in my closet. Had no idea they make bags..
