For the past few years I’ve had six designers that I’ve absolutely been obsessed with. These designers are the Crème de la Crème of the fashion industry. Each one brings another quality to the table and I think the designers will be with my for life. One of those designers is, Michael Kors. My all time favorite trend that I can’t get over is black and gold. It’s a very beautiful color combination and no one blends these colors together when it comes to fashion better than Michael Kors. Every time I go into a Michael Kors store I always see accessories that feature black and gold in some sort of way and that’s what keeps me going back. Everything in my closet that is black and gold is by Michael Kors. To me, he is the master of bringing these two gorgeous colors and featuring them together to make one stunning accessory. I always get compliments on my Michael Kors accessories that are black and gold. It’s classy/flashy and I’m obsessed.

Another year has come to a close, which means we are wrapping up another year of blog writing here at bagbliss. If you read my blogs often you will notice that I grab most of the handbags and accessories I write about from Shop Bop. Therefore, Shop Bop is my favorite online boutique of 2012. To me, Shop Bop is the best place to shop online for the ultimate fashion lover. You can literally find everything you could possibly want at Shop Bop. They have an endless amount of accessories, clothes, handbags and shoes to choose from.
When I go on Shop Bop, the first things I always look at are the shoes and tech accessories. I love seeing all the new and stylish shoes they have to offer and the tech accessories are always awesome to look at. I currently own an iPhone, iPad and lap top so it’s always nice to see new covers I can get for them.

As the year comes to an end, we reflect back on our fashion favorites of 2012. With ever changing trends and styles, there were many inspiring designers, both known and new, who did superb jobs in presenting artistic elegance and beauty to the fashion world. If I’d have to recognize just one fashion trendsetter who in my opinion, has truly emerged within the past couple of seasons, I’d have to say that’s Diane von Furstenberg.
The Belgian designer has always been an influential figure in women’s fashion. Her retrospective designs for the modern women influences an audience of diverse generations. I’ve always admired her iconic designs, colorful patterns and her feminine works, but during these past seasons, we’ve witnessed bolder and fun trendsetters that have created some of the best pieces yet! Throughout the year we definitely digged the adorable and extra affordable canvas totes that arrived in different patterns and hues.

Inspired by her Malibu childhood, Los Angeles designer Lisa Popp set out to create a brand that embodies an earthy-glam style back in 2000. Her creation, Tylie Malibu, answered the call for bohemian elegance, bringing us a flirty and carefree style that is both youthful and functional. The most well-known handbags from this designer include those from the Runaway collection. These bags are easily recognized by their square shaped stud embellishments and casual, unstructured shapes. And each Tylie Malibu handbag is handcrafted in Popp’s Santa Monica design studio. Celebrity followers of the brand include Halle Berry, Olivia Wilde, Lindsey Lohan, Eva Longoria, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Paris Hilton.

It was at a mutual friend’s wedding in St. Louis, Missouri that Laura Darrah and Sheila Nazarian first met. It wasn’t long before the two decided to create their own handbag company, with Darrah heading the business portion and Nazarian manning the creative portion. A few years later, in 2005, the California-based design duo launched their luxury handbag collection. They named their collection Treesje, after the mutual friend for whom their friendship is credited. It only took a few short years for their company to grow from a tiny, two-person operation to a very powerful presence in the accessory world. Treesje handbags encompass a vast number of colors, finishes, and styles. Each piece captures the essence of chic California style, bringing us modern trends with a classic perspective.

Couture house Yves Saint Laurent was founded in 1961 by the groundbreaking designs of Algerian born Mr. Saint Laurent. His artistic talents were seen early on as an assistant for Christian Dior. In the late 1950’s, Laurent proceeds and takes over as head designer for the House of Dior at the age of twenty-one.

New York City born fashion designer who established an upscale couture line under his name, diffused a modern cool collection, and holds the title of creative designer to the prestigious French luxury brand Louis Vuitton, of course we’re talking about no other than Marc Jacobs.
Since his grandmother taught him how to knit early on, his interest in fashion flourished. Jacobs studied at Parsons School of Art and Design in New York and later started designing for Perry Ellis. He was let go after designing a collection of “grunge” for Ellis, but success came to him after being awarded a New Fashion Talent award by The Council of Fashion Designers of America. He carried on to his own line the Marc Jacobs Collection that became an instant hit within the fashion and celebrity world. Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Victoria Beckham, Dakota Fanning and Linda Evangelista are just some of the many fans to both his Collection line and his funky cool Marc by Marc Jacobs line.

Founded in 1853 by Monsieur Vuitton in Paris, Louis Vuitton is one of the top, oldest luxury fashion houses in the world. In the beginning, the Louis Vuitton brand gained recognition and popularity for manufacturing high-quality traveling trunks, which were known especially for the designers luggage pattern: a beige-on-chestnut monogram, “LV.”
The Louis Vuitton brand is well-known for their signature LV logo, which has become famously copied by counterfeiters.
The classic, permanent Louis Vuitton lines are the Signature Monogram Canvas, Damier Canvas, Vernis, Denim, Mini Lin, Monogram Multicolore, Epi Leather, Mahina and Surya. Popular styles include the Speedy, Alma, Papillon, Neverfull and Keepall.

Founded in 1918 by Adele Casagrande but not established until 1925 with it’s upscale name, Fendi (with the partnership of her husband Edoardo Fendi), the Roman based shop was one of Italy’s most coveted fashion secret. The House of Fendi began as a leather goods and fur retail shop and as it’s popularity gained, it was only ideal for its founders to progress into a larger store. Into a refurbished movie theatre they moved, which is known today as the Fendi Flagship store right in the center of Rome.
