Alexander Wang Bio

At the age of 18, Alexander Wang left his home in San Francisco to attend Parsons Design School in New York City. By his sophomore year, the young designer was already designing his first ready-to-wear collection. His first full womens collection, however, did not make its debut until 2007.

One year later, Alexander Wang expanded his label into the realm of handbags by adding a full accessories line. Just as with his clothing designs, Alexander Wang handbags are famous for combining luxurious and refined silhouettes with urban street style. Alexander Wang believes that a woman’s true style emerges from her everyday life, which is reflected in his work. Perhaps the most recognizable of his creations is the Rocco, Brenda and Donna. These particular styles have been spotted on a variety of celebrities including Mary-Kate Olsen, Kristin Cavallari, Ashley Tisdale, Lindsey Lohan, and Rihanna.
