Inspired by her Malibu childhood, Los Angeles designer Lisa Popp set out to create a brand that embodies an earthy-glam style back in 2000. Her creation, Tylie Malibu, answered the call for bohemian elegance, bringing us a flirty and carefree style that is both youthful and functional. The most well-known handbags from this designer include those from the Runaway collection. These bags are easily recognized by their square shaped stud embellishments and casual, unstructured shapes. And each Tylie Malibu handbag is handcrafted in Popp’s Santa Monica design studio. Celebrity followers of the brand include Halle Berry, Olivia Wilde, Lindsey Lohan, Eva Longoria, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Paris Hilton.

Interestingly, the company also supports the fight against climate change through their Tylie Cares program. Special items (i.e. canvas shopping totes, t-shirts, and reusable water bottles) are offered for sale as part of this program with 100% of the proceeds going to stopglobalwarming.org.
