Ah, the bucket. It’s been one of mans most reliable tools for centuries and here’s proof that it’s still continues it’s legacy. For the coming fall season, Alexander McQueen gave the skulls a rest and went for the handy leather handbag that’s sure to please both the fashionista and the rocker chic in you.
It’s the Faithful Leather Bucket Tote and it arrives bigger and badder than all the other bucket bags out in the market right now. Rich leather forms the round classic silhouette of the tote while a hardcore belt keeps your essentials in place and tightly out of reach from everyone.
Although I must admit the belted detail is strangely cool, I’m not sure if it’s cool enough to give in to. Besides the dangling belt detail, other features on this tote bring out the beauty and inimitable design of this piece. Silver chain links serve as the totes drawstrings rather than the typical leather strings found on most bucket bags. Another cool feature can be found at the base of this bag where an all-around zipper allows you to expand the height of your bucket for extra storage. I love the scarlet red lining and of course the chain straps rock. Ladies, what’s your input on this McQueen?

I love this bag. but I’m not really fond of the faithful glove clutch, that looks reduculous.
McQueen is amazing.
Me like!! This isn’t too out there, but still edgy enough for everyday
use. I don’t really like how the bag is simply closed using a drawstring,
but other than that I think all the details add up to an utterly
scrumptious bag!

I don’t own any bags by this designer, but I do have a few of his skull scarves. I would probably never buy this because it’s so expensive. Although if it were ever on sale, like for instance over at Gilt! Then definitely!!
I’m in love. I remember when Kooba did the belt thing, and I was like, who would ever. But this is just totally fabulous. McQ did an awesome job on this bag.

Wow, this is the first McQ bag that I’ve actually loved. His other bags are nice, but I wouldn’t spend that much. This one, I’m about ready to run to the bank.
