As I was looking at the new M.A.C line by Carine Roitfeld and I couldn’t help but fall in love with the new nude lipstick. I’m starting to take a liking to a lot of light colors. Beige, light pink and nude colors are some of my absolute favorite colors when it comes to fashion. I’m a huge fan of jeans and those three colors in particular always go so great with denim. With that said, I absolutely love the Alexander Wang “Lydia” Clutch. The color is breathtaking and it’s light enough to go with a variety of different outfits.

Obsession: Alexander Wang Fumo Wristlet

When errands call and the thought of toting around your big ol’ 5 pound day bag just isn’t happenin..

The Alexander Wang Fumo Wristlet is small no doubt about that, but that’s why I love it so much. When I just want to run downstairs for a coffee or dash to the market, carrying my handbag just isn’t an option. I prefer a clutch, or even better a wristlet.

Lots of little compartments for organization: front and back exterior pockets and on the inside three open compartments, one open pocket and four card slots.

Pair it with the Rag & Bone Pocket Tee and Skinny Jeans

Alexander Wang is quickly becoming one of my favorite designers. I pretty much love everything the designer brand comes out with and now I’m drooling over the Mini “Golf” Bag. Golf has always been one of my favorite sports. I’ve never played, so to speak, real golf before but I do love mini golf. If someone were to teach me how to play golf, I think I would love it! Plus I love that you can wear whatever you want on the golf course, so you know I would bring some high fashion out when playing.

The Alexander Wang Mini “Golf” Bag is adorable, stylish and literally looks like you can put a set of mini golf clubs inside it. I love the whole concept and design of this bag. I especially love how the front zip opens directly into the bag. Although, I’m not sure why the handles are detachable. Perhaps you can buy a shoulder strap from the company and if that’s the case that’s a pretty cool feature to have on the bag.

In 2008, I bought myself a Louis Vuitton Multicolor Wallet to go with my Multicolor handbags. It’s still in great shape but I’ve been looking for a gorgeous black wallet to add to my collection. After having a white wallet, I’ve noticed how easy it is to get it dirty. It floats around in your bag all day long that it just gets dirtier and dirtier by the day. I will never buy a white wallet again and now I know black is the way to go. I paid over $700 for the Louis Vuitton wallet so I’m looking for something a little more reasonably priced.

Lately, I’ve been carrying around smaller handbags but usually I’m a big handbag kind of gal. Let’s face it, you can’t fit much in a small bag but they do come in handy when it’s scorching hot outside. It’s incredibly hot in Florida and when you’re outside carrying around a larger handbag it can be quite exhausting.

The Alexander Wang Croc-Embossed Small “Liner” Tote is definitely a bag I would buy in a heart beat. This would make the perfect handbag to travel with especially on an airplane. It looks like I could easily throw all my makeup, a pair of shoes, a jacket, some magazines in it and I would still have room! It almost looks like a piece of luggage that you could use as a small carry on bag or an over sized purse.

The Alexander Wang Rocco Duffel Bag has been around for some time now. Ever since I first laid eyes on it, I have been dreaming about it. Celebrities love it too, whether it happens to be the mini or regular size. I’m not sure what the appeal is exactly, but I suspect it is those studs that cover this bag’s entire bottom. I won’t argue with that. I love those studs too! The only problem is that they can get quite heavy. Hmm… what to do? Aussie model and Victoria’s Secret Angel Miranda Kerr was spotted at the airport in Sydney over the weekend. Accompanied by her son, Flynn, she was returning to her hometown where her family resides. Both were dressed in comfy clothing, baby in little sweat pants and mom in a pair of skinny leather pants and a loose fitting tee. What grabbed my attention though was the bag slung over Miranda’s shoulder. That is no baby bag! It’s the Alexander Wang Diego Bucket Bag!

If there’s one regret 2011 that I couldn’t achieve was not being able to obtain certain fashion pieces throughout the seasons. I’m leaving this year with more on my want list than on my acquired list. The good thing (or sometimes good thing) about the fashion world is that designers update their products instantaneously; hence with time, it’s impossible for your lust list to remain short. So my three favorite handbag selections, in random order, for the 2011-year were also three pieces that I unfortunately didn’t add to my collection, yet will carry over into the 2012-year.

There’s a new Couture House that kept the oversized studs fashionable and popular. Alexander Wang carried a distinctive collection of handbags that carried hardware in abundance. Hobos, satchels and my favorite, the Diego Bucket Bag; each arrived with a unique silhouette and a uniformed array of metal studs at the base.
