Anya Hindmarch is reknowned for lady-like style and the new Fergus Stitched Leather Bag is refined, chic and so much more. When I see this bag, I think of Audrey Hepburn, Gwyneth Paltrow and Scarlett Johanssen all rolled into one. It’s sophisticated, exclusive and there’s just a bit of edge to keep things interesting!
This roomy black leather bowling bag features a stitching that creates a woven effect. The signature bow is stitched into the bag as well. The black on black design has a very rich and sophisticated effect, but also a bit edgy , ala a Matrix vibe. The gold-tone hardware adds the right touch of shine.
Beautifully made rolled leather handles have a 7” drop. A zip across top with an elegant tassel zip-pull provide another interesting design element. The bag features metal feet at the bottom to protect the leather. There is also a magnetic pocket at the back, one zipped and two pouch pockets inside. As a bonus, there’s an internal key fob. Designer stamped fabric adds the final touch of sophistication.

I love a ladylike, feminine bag. I am so glad that they’re making a comeback. For someone like me who dislikes huge, hobo bags, this year appears that I’m going to have more choices.
The only thing I’m not a fan of is the zipper closer. A tote style would work best for me because I’m always in and out of my bag..
I think this bag is ultimate lady-chic. I’ve never purchased a bag by this designer in the past, but this is one that I’m seriously considering. It looks like one of those bags that you can have in your closet, then a couple seasons later will still be in. Beautiful bag!
